eduGAIN
What is eduGAIN?
eduGAIN is an international service connecting research communities and higher education identity federations around the world. eduGAIN provides an efficient, flexible way for participating institutions, and their affiliated users and services, to interconnect authentication and authorisation infrastructures. eduGAIN is a global service with more than 70 federations participating in or in the process of joining eduGAIN, with more than 4,200 identity providers and 3,200 service providers. eduGAIN now supports nearly 30 million students, staff and researchers around the world (see https://edugain.org/). SIFULAN Federation has been accepted as the 57th member of eduGAIN since 2018 and SIFULAN Federation members can now access such services (subject to authorisation by respective institutions/service providers).
